I love the idea! A world full of colours, and one just pulls the umbrella out and stays dull and grey. And I love it that the rain is full of colours, because usually rain symbolizes something sad, and in this picture it's the most beautiful thing you can see, making her appear so much more desperate. + She walks away, which makes me want to grab her hand and pull her back, just to see what her face would tell me, but the same time I know that this is not possible. I don't know if this was all intended by you, but I think it's very creative The artistic execution is also good, can't complain about it and can't do it better, either The only thing that bugs me a little is the umbrella. That's not so important, but I think it could have been drawn a little more accurate, it just doesn't look quite as 'realistic' as the girl.
Anyway, keep it going. I really liked it, especially because of the idea behind it (oh, and i hope my English is okay, I didn't use it in a while^^°)
I actually really enjoy the effect of this image. The pure simplicity of it blended with the bright splashes of colors from the background stand out to me. I like that you're left with the feeling that everything has purpose. And though the Colors on the girl are all black and white, everything is still very defined. It seems to be a unique takeoff on a style that has been attempted before. The colors add a dramatic effect that can take place without even having to see the expression on the girls face. The technique is beautiful, and it is something that will add curiosity to the work. Wonderful!
